The Car That Started It All

Why It Matters

Every crew starts somewhere. Ours started with this 440i — the car that pulled the first conversations in parking lots, took the first night drives up the Valley, and proved a convertible daily could still be a weapon. The B58 under the hood didn't stay factory for long, and neither did the plan to keep it a one-car story.

Around 4,300 pounds of drop-top BMW that gets from 0–60 in about 3.7 seconds. That's the argument, settled.

    Hudson Valley, NY

    The season opener. After a long winter of garage work and build planning, it's time to bring them out. This is our first meet of 2026 - all verified members welcome. Expect food trucks, music, and the cleanest builds in the Valley rolling through. Whether you just finished a new mod or you're debuting a whole new setup, this is the one to pull up to.

Member Rules

Overdrive Society runs on respect, standards, and accountability. These aren't suggestions. Break them, and you're out.

  1. Respect Every Build

    Every car here represents someone's time, money, and vision. You don't have to like every build, but you will respect it. No clowning, no shade, no elitism. A clean Civic gets the same respect as a GT-R.

  2. No Street Racing at Events

    What you do on your own time is your business. But at our events, it's zero tolerance. No burnouts in the lot, no pulls leaving the meet, no revving battles. Keep it clean or take it to the track. One violation = permanent ban.

  3. Keep It Clean

    Your car doesn't need to be show-ready, but it should be clean. Washed, no trash inside, nothing embarrassing. You're representing the crew when you pull up.

  4. Show Up or Communicate

    If you RSVP to an event, show up. If something comes up, let us know. Consistent no-shows waste everyone's time and take spots from members who actually want to be there. Three no-shows without notice = review of membership.

  5. No Drama, No Politics

    We're here for cars. Leave the beef, the gossip, and the politics at home. If you have an issue with another member, handle it like an adult or bring it to leadership. Don't air it out in the group.

  6. Represent Well

    When you're at an event or wearing the merch, you represent Overdrive Society. Act accordingly. No road rage, no reckless driving to and from meets, no behavior that makes us look bad.

  7. Leave No Trace

    Every event location we use, we leave cleaner than we found it. Pick up your trash, your cigarette butts, your bottles. If we trash a spot, we lose it forever. Don't be that person.

  8. Zero Tolerance

    Instant permanent ban: DUI/DWI at or going to/from events, fighting, property damage, theft, harassment of any kind, or sharing event locations with non-members. No warnings. No appeals. We protect the crew.

What is Overdrive Society?

Overdrive Society is a private, members-only car club based in the Hudson Valley, New York. We organize exclusive car meets, cruises, and events for verified members. We keep the standard high — clean builds, modified cars or expensive luxury & performance cars. Think of it as a curated community of real car people — no posers, no drama.

How much does membership cost?

Standard — $20/month. Full access to all private meets, cruises, and the community.

Drip Pack — $30 for the first month (includes a free t-shirt and keychain), then $20/month after that. Everything in Standard plus exclusive merch.

The Crew — $50 for the first month, then $25/month. Everything in Drip Pack PLUS a walkie talkie so you can communicate with the squad on cruises and at meets. The ultimate membership.

What's the verification process?

Every member goes through verification before they're in. After you sign up, email photos of your build to over.drive.society1@gmail.com along with your name and what you drive. We're not gatekeeping for the sake of it — we're making sure every member brings something real to the table. Clean builds, good attitudes, genuine passion for cars. That's it.

What kind of cars are accepted?

We accept clean builds, modified cars, and expensive luxury & performance cars — JDM, Euro, American muscle, exotics, whatever. The standard is high. This isn't for regular daily drivers or stock commuter cars. No hard feelings, that's just the image we're going for. Your car needs to show real effort — modified, maintained, and something you're proud to pull up in. If you put work into your build, you belong here.

Where are events held?

All events are in the Hudson Valley, NY area. Specific locations are shared with members before each event. We pick spots that are scenic, spacious, and away from the drama. Route 9W cruises, private lots, scenic overlooks - we keep it interesting.

Can I bring a friend who's not a member?

Members-only events are members-only. That said, we occasionally host open events or invite-a-friend meets. If your friend is interested, tell them to apply. If they're about it, they'll get in.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel anytime. No contracts, no guilt trips. However, if your membership has already renewed for the current period, we can't offer a refund on that payment. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged. If you want back in later, you'll need to go through verification again.

I'm not local to Hudson Valley. Can I still join?

Membership is open to anyone, but our main events are in the Hudson Valley area. We also plan to host cruises and meets in Connecticut, Jersey, and even PA — so there's more coming. We've already had members pull up from Connecticut, Jersey, and even PA. Real ones travel. If you're willing to make the drive, you're welcome.

What do I get with membership?

Access to all private meets and cruises, the members-only community, first dibs on event spots, exclusive merch drops, and a network of real car people who actually know what they're talking about.

Drip Pack members get a free t-shirt and keychain on signup.

The Crew members get everything above PLUS a walkie talkie so you can stay connected with the squad on cruises and at meets.

What's the deal with the mechanic services?

One of the biggest perks of being a member — you get access to our in-house professional mechanic at rates way below what any shop around here charges. We're talking real savings, not a 5% coupon. Whether it's oil changes, brake jobs, suspension work, or performance upgrades, our guy does work you can actually trust — and for less than you'd pay anywhere else in the Hudson Valley.

The Crew (VIP) members get priority booking and the deepest discounts. No guessing if the shop is ripping you off, no sketchy work you have to redo later. Just honest, professional service from someone who's part of the crew — at prices that beat every shop around.

How do I get my Merch / Walkie Talkie?

We prefer to give it to you personally, by hand — it's more personal and you get to meet the team. If you desperately need it shipped though, email us at over.drive.society1@gmail.com , DM us, or speak to Bryghton or Brandon directly and we'll accommodate.
